Healthy swops that are yum!Yes we all know that dairy milk has many hormones in them that cause growth,fat and acne. But there's a delicious alternative even if you're not going vegan. Almond milk can be used in cereals, tea and even to bake a cake. The great thing about it is that it doesn't have an overwhelming nut flavour . Trust me I had a cup of tea and couldn't taste the difference. Just to clarify if you have nut allergies do not drink this as it contains nuts. Weve been told to rather eat brown bread as it is more healthy than white and then that brown bread is actually more unhealthy. Rye bread is absolutely tasty and healthy. I mouth always waters when I have rye bread open sandwiches. Spread a generous amount of avocado or even hummus, cubed chicken fillet, bell peppers,shredded cucumber and top it of with a crumbled layer of feta cheese. The last change for this weeks challenge is to throw out all the sodas, juices and ice teas and opt for green tea. Green tea is an excellent kick start you're health journey as it speeds up you're metabolism and the same time detoxes. I first hated the taste of it but with a tip of honey and a few cups you'll love it.

Get healthy with me:Its nearly summer holidays and with the whole year of quick and easy meals, because of the study load we often forget that being healthy actually results in a stronger immune system.
So I decided to create a summer fitness challenge. Now don't go and pick out all the long dresses, firstly you won't find any and secondly their too hot any way. Choose a sleeveless or straps long dress or even a jumpsuit from h&m, factorie and cotton on always have them in stock. Yes you might be asking, but Aaliyah I wear hijab how can I wear sleeveless clothes? And I say, " Gurl pair it with a kimono or an open Abayah" Long shirts or shirt dresses that are matte and made from pure cotton or silk are you're best friend for an everyday basis when you don't have time. Since it's so easy to pair with a jean or pants and still look elegant. Summer time is the right time to dress girly and classy and I think swop the superstars for heels or wedges. The place where you'll find these shirts is Refinery. Every summer I go on a hunt for shirts and blouse shirts, but they are now more commonly found at Zara. They are airy and breezy. They give a classy look when paired with pants and a casual feel with jeans. Hijab styles: Drape you're hijab effortlessly over your shoulder for a classy and heat proof look. Choose a chiffon scarf since it has a cool touch. My favorite shades for summer are blush, nudes,baby blue and light grey. And lastly the effortless turban. It's so easy to do especially with the Ajmaan instant turbans( check my IG). They are so light weight, which means no headaches or tan lines around you're neck.
